The intent of the collaboration is based on leveraging hybrid cloud capabilities from IBM to enable enterprises to deliver more personalised experiences across the customer journey, driving improved engagement, profitability, and loyalty. Tetherfi, a leading provider of communication solutions, will host its  Multi-Experience (MX) platform on IBM Cloud while providing competitive and engaging customer and employee experience for its enterprise clients.

Tetherfi Multi-eXperience (MX) platform powered by Tetherfi SDK / API, enables enterprises to chat, touch, video, audio, screen share and jointly navigate the customer’s browser to provide support real time. Combining these interaction modalities within a single engagement with a client, for resolving issues seamlessly, will help provide a competitive and engaging customer experience. Some of these issues include changing passwords, retrieving past transactions, rectifying failed funds transfer, and adding new payees.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, while most banks shut their customer services entirely or partially, Tetherfi’s client from the banking industry was able to offer high quality customer services with minimal disruption. The bank’s agents would use Tetherfi’s ' work from home' option, log into the customer service channels, and interact with customers via call, video, WhatsApp, chat, or email. Their customers never felt the need to go to a branch.

As companies undergo their digital transformations and migrate workloads to the cloud, enterprises need to protect data by ensuring critical enterprise and customer information are protected, keeping security front and centre while delivering meaningful customer experiences.  Tetherfi is focusing on creating solutions that will allow businesses to work remotely without compromising on efficiency and security.
