Country General Manager and Technology Leader

Leo Capinpin is the Country General Manager and Technology Leader for IBM Philippines. Leo brings over 25 years of leadership and domain experience, having worked closely with clients and ecosystem partners throughout his career. He leads business strategy, sales, and technical functions, while working closely with clients and IT ecosystem constituents — including consultants, analysts, system integrators, managed service providers, independent software vendors, and other technology providers.

Throughout his career at IBM that began in 2000, he has developed extensive experience in the financial services sector, having served as Client Unit Executive for the Financial Services Sector. Leo also brings deep expertise in IT Services, having led the Global Technology Services division of IBM Philippines, where he managed and delivered IT Infrastructure Services across consulting, projects, managed services, and outsourcing. Most recently, he served as Country Manager for Systems, IBM Philippines, encompassing Hardware and Software Infrastructure Technology Solutions across Hybrid Cloud.

Leo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
