Country General Manager, IBM Vietnam

Pham Thi Thu Diep is Technology and Country Leader for IBM in Vietnam since January 2021.  She is the first woman to take over the senior leadership role in subsidiary’s 25 years in the country.

Diep is responsible for business growth and leadership, including strengthening IBM’s presence and partnership with clients and partners through the adoption of open hybrid cloud and cognitive-led digital transformation.

A senior leader with more than 23 years of expertise in Vietnam IT industry, Diep started her career at TRG International, a market-leading global professional services firm for about a year and had another 12 years serving several positions at Exact, an ERP and cloud business software for accounting customers. 

Diep joined IBM in early 2011 and has held diverse leadership positions in Services and Hybrid Cloud Software functions. Prior to her current appointment, Diep served as Country Manager, Cloud and Cognitive Software, IBM Vietnam.

Diep is keen to build a productive workplace with engaged people and achieve a bright output from employee training. Adopting a conversational coaching style, she believes this can be the answer to unlocking their talents and drive company to success.
