As Vice President of Customer Success in Asia Pacific, Maria leads a team of technical experts to ensure adoption of IBM technology and solutions so that clients realize sustained business value from IBM products. Maria has led data science and digital transformation business lines, and has founded AI analytics startups in the past 15+ years, where she was Innovation Analytics Leader at Dun & Bradstreet, Chief Science Officer at Genpact, and GM of Data Science at Mastech Infotrellis. She is also the founder of AI analytics consultancy startups and AI-for-good companies that help women find new income through AI. Her industry expertise spans across financial services, retail, hospitality and transportation.
Maria’s topics of interests include quantum computing in scenario modeling, population migration for financial sustainability, payment innovations, credit scoring, generalized artificial intelligence in bots, and logistics optimization leveraging distributed machine learning on blockchain. She has a PhD in Cognitive Science from UC Irvine, and has taught executive learning courses in AI Readiness at various colleges and universities in the US and, now across Asia Pacific.
