Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, IBM Asia Pacific

Naomi has 30 years experience with IBM, after starting her career in banking. She is newly appointed as Vice President Finance and Operations, CFO APAC and Japan, following three years as CFO for IBM’s business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Previously she spent fours years in a General Management role managing IBM’s Financing business in Japan and then Europe, responsible for further growing and developing IBM’s value through innovative and leading Financing solutions.

Naomi’s Finance career with IBM has included global and headquarters roles in the USA plus Consulting, Hardware and Software CFO roles in Zurich and Madrid. In addition Naomi was CFO for IBM UK and Ireland where she was key in driving the strategy and transformation, ensuring investment in our go to market and other capabilities to transform how we engage with our clients and continually evolve our business model to capture transformation led growth,

Naomi is a graduate of the University of Keele and also holds post graduate qualifications in Banking and Treasury. She is a former Royal Naval Reserve officer and non exec director of a London college. She chaired our IBM UK charitable trust, is director and chair of several IBM companies in APAC and EMEA including director of the IBM UK pension fund.
