Country General Manager, IBM Taiwan

Nelson Lee is General Manager of IBM Taiwan since January 2023, accountable for IBM’s operations in Taiwan.

Nelson joined IBM in 2006 and has held multiple sales leadership roles in various business units, including General Manager of IBM Systems-Hardware and General Manager of IBM Global Technology Services in Taiwan. Most recently, he served as Strategic Sales Leader at IBM Consulting, Greater China Group.

Nelson started his IBM career as a client representative, looking after financial holding company clients in Financial Services Sector. Nelson constantly delivered proven business results and got promoted to an executive role in 10 years.

In April 2018, Nelson was assigned to Beijing, China to be the Administrative Assistant to the Chairman of IBM Greater China Group (GCG), which gave him opportunities to closely observe IBM’s strategic planning, execution and operations in a dynamic and fast-changing market and expanded his perspective for business management. After the 6-month assignment, Nelson took over the role of Chief Operations Officer of IBM Global Technology Services for GCG in November 2018, leading transformation of the organization.

Nelson has a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Tamkang University in Taiwan.
