Feedloop AI taps IBM watsonx to help Indonesia’s public and private sectors address governance and regulatory compliance
With watsonx trustworthiness, compliance and governance approach, Feedloop can today empower organizations in Indonesia to navigate regulations seamlessly.
Jakarta, 29 July 2024 – A leading Indonesian generative AI (Gen AI) technology provider Feedloop AI announced today it has adopted IBM (NYSE: IBM) watsonx AI and data platform to provide its clients in key public and private sectors with access to powerful governance, risk and compliance tools. watsonx platform will help Feedloop customers automate the identification of regulatory obligations across their risk governance framework, ensuring adherence to business standards and compliance requirements.
Feedloop’s FL1 AI Large Language Model (LLM) is one of the first Indonesian-language LLMs that can be used by local government and business organizations. By integrating its LLM to watsonx, Feedloop’s customers will be able to direct, manage, monitor and govern their AI for existing and future regulations.
“Feedloop’s advanced AI technology brings organizations in Indonesia the ability to optimize their operations and gain a competitive edge. The reliability of AI platform is, however, key to making Feedloop a trusted partner for enterprises,” said Ahmad Rizqi Meydiarso, Co-Founder and CEO of Feedloop. “With watsonx trustworthiness, compliance and governance approach, Feedloop can today empower organizations in Indonesia to navigate regulations seamlessly.”
Though Indonesia leads the Southeast Asia region with $366 billion in projected AI contributions to the national GDP,1 one of the top key challenges that hinder AI prog ress in Indonesia today, according to a recent study by KORIKA, is the lack of internal data governance (40%). This underscores governance as key to the responsible and successful adoption of AI.
“We are proud to work and to promote an Indonesian Technology solution like Feedloop to go to the next level,” says Lie Heng, Director, PT Synnex Metrodata Indonesia, an IBM Business Partner. “Enterprise AI is relatively new, but companies are moving fast to maximize its benefits for their business. We are here to help.”
“As more companies need to build a trusted AI, they must ensure that it is optimized to provide beneficial impacts while reducing risks and adverse outcomes for all stakeholders,” said Roy Kosasih, President Director of IBM Indonesia. “Responsible AI can’t be an afterthought. We are delighted to bring watsonx to help evaluate and monitor Feedloop’s LLM accuracy, drift, bias and quality, while helping the platform to comply with regulatory and governance requirements.”
“IBM’s open platform approach, where customers can bring their own model to the cloud, on premise or both, will also allow Feedloop to scale and maximize the benefits of Gen AI for their customers. We are looking forward to helping Indonesian organizations reach the next stage of their evolution with trusted Gen AI,” concluded Kosasih.
